Cheryl I. Bryan

 

Cheryl I Bryan is a watercolor artist living in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She is currently a facilitator for the Bartlesville Art Association Open Studio which meets on Wednesday. She has exhibited and sold her paintings in the United States, Canada, and Europe, and has received numerous
award. Cheryl has taken workshops from many nationally known artists- David Rankin, Soon Warren, Judi Betts, Stephen Quiller, Dong Kingman, Milford Zornes, Maxine Masterfield, Virginia Cobb, and many more. Cheryl loves the transparency, light, layers, glow and surprises that watercolor brings. If you let go and let God there can be an unbelievable flow of light and color. Her expressed hope is that through viewing her work you too will experience the joy of watercolor.


Cheryl received her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Oklahoma State University and a Master's degree in Directed Individual Studies with an emphasis on art at Texas A&I University in Corpus Christi Texas.
She worked 21 years doing research and development of photoresist for computer chips with Celanese and DuPont chemical companies.
